[ARCHIVED] Canvas Buttons downloading as images instead of opening up links

Oh I am having a huge issue here

I have made buttons for my students to use to go to other websites. They work on every device on my phone, computer, chromebook etc.... 

Our students are only given tablets with the Canvas app to use this year.  

The buttons are NOT working on their samsung tablets. and I do not know what to do. They work on any other device but on their tablets it will not take them to the link... it just downloads the button as an image and that is it

PLEASE Tell me there is a way to fix this? Why will it work on any other device but not on this one!? I even thought it was the safe web browser but I tried it and it worked so it must just be the device?

Sorry to hear about this issue. I think you will have to share a little more about how the buttons are being used in the course. 

1. Are the buttons being uploaded to a Canvas Page? 
2. Are the buttons uploaded to your course and then link from the Canvas page? Or are you linking to the buttons from another site or course?
3. Can you share a screenshot of the page with the buttons? 
4. Can you share the HTML code from the page with the buttons? 

I don't have a Samsung tablet to test, but maybe we can find out a workaround. Thanks.
