[ARCHIVED] Canvas Grades not Showing on App

I have a student using the iOS app who can see grades for all of his courses except one. On his iPad when he taps on Grades for the course it says, "There was an error loading grades. Pull to refresh to try again." Pulling to refresh does nothing.

Thoughts?

I have never heard of this error in the Canvas mobile apps.

If the student is on the latest version of the app, then my suggestion for the student to clear the app's cache. 

Clearing the Mobile App Cache on an iOS device

1. Go to Settings.
2. Select the Canvas App.
3. Toggle on the option that states, "Clear app cache on next launch." From there, you will force close the Canvas App.
4. Log back into the Canvas app again.
5. If this doesn't work, uninstall the app and try again.

Clearing the Mobile App Cache on an Android device

1. Go to your phone's settings
2. Select Apps.
3. Locate the Canvas App and select it.
4. Press storage and select the delete or clean button for clear data and clear cache.
5. Delete the app, and then reinstall it.

If this doesn't work, then the student should contact support to create a Canvas support ticket.

We have a couple students with this same question.  Clearing the cache and re-installing the app did not fix the gradebook error.  Everything else in the app seems to be working.  Is there something else we can try?

One student is using an iPhone X with iOS 14.4

I put in a ticket to Canvas and they solved the individual student’s problem. I don’t know exactly what they did
