Does anyone know if you can "turn off" communication between students in the Inbox? My teachers are worried about students taking screenshots of tests, quizzes, etc. and sharing them with each other. They are also worried about the lack of monitoring in these conversations.

Hi @mmhuffman - Yes, this is possible! I recommend talking to your CSM about it. We opted to turn off the student-to-student inbox when we adopted Canvas six years ago because we wanted to monitor student communication through our Google Apps filter. It's doable, but with a little help and guidance from a friendly Instructure employee.
