[ARCHIVED] Canvas/SIS Missing Assignment Integration

Is it possible (current or future) to have Canvas/SIS (Aspire) integration allow for a missing in the Canvas Gradebook to sync to SIS as an M (counts as a zero), but shows on the student homepage as a missing?

Hi @RyanFisher, 

This is such a great question! Have you tried using a missing submission policy in your course/courses? This will automatically apply a grade (any grade you want) to the missing assignment while also labeling the assignment as missing. This way, when you sync your Canvas gradebook to Aspire, a numeric score is passed to Aspire while the missing label still applies in Canvas.

@Allie_Dilts The missing submission only transfers a score such as a zero, the issue is that in SIS student scores that are missing need to show an M, which shows on the student home page and a zero does not.
