I just realized that the Canvas Student App is showing ALL the content I copied into my courses, even the assignments and announcements I have marked "unpublished" or "delayed." What can I do to make sure the students are ONLY seeing current information as I have released it?

Hi Kathryn - When an instructor uses the Canvas Student app, they can see all of the content (even the unpublished items). I have the luxury of having a test student in my classes that I use to double-check settings and the student experience.
Hi @kjohnson20 Thank You for your question.
Hmmmm, I'm wondering if you hide the things you do not want students to have access to will work.
Here's a guide for that to try https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-12933-415257079

Thank you. I had not thought of that. So, I just have to trust that what I see in "Student Preview" on the Canvas website is what the students are seeing in the app?
