[ARCHIVED] Category urls in Catalog

Hi All

Me again. I am currently going through our instance of Catalog to make sure that it is functioning the way it should be.

In doing so, I have noticed that the 'Catagories' function for sub-catalog pages only returns query results of the listings that occur in a sub-catalog. Has anyone been able to change this so the drop-down category menu provides links to the actual sub-catalog pages (not the listings that occur with that Catalog)? i.e. https://learn-iseducation-com-au.beta.sydney.catalog.canvaslms.com/browse/operations

I would recommend emailing escull‌ from Indiana University. They have customized a dropdown menu on their Catalog for subcatalogs...using Javascript: https://expand.iu.edu/

Just checked out their Catalog, and it pretty much what I was chasing design-wise.

I haven't heard back from Erik but have come up with a way to use categories as drop-down menus that link to other sub-catalog pages. Its a bit slow parsing and makes me think that I should learn to use React rather than amending Catalog's DOM all the time with jquery.
