[ARCHIVED] Changing Student Answer by Editing Question?

Hi,

So I noted that a correct answer was marked as incorrect on a multiple choice question. I was unaware of how to change the correct answer, so I used control-x to remove the answer from one text box, then pasted it into the appropriate one, same thing for the other response (essentially swapped each from one text box to the other). Then later I learned the right fix and did that. Now, a student has shown me that the answer she chose is changed as well. This is based on before and after screen shots, clearly showing that her answer choice was changed.

Is this because of my cut-paste adventure?
