Hi, 

Is there a way to increase toolbar options.  I am trying to make my assignments appear more eye catching such as changing fonts and background color, yet my toolbar is limited. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

If you place your cursor in the RCE, you can press the keyboard combination ALT + F9.  It will give you a text-based menu with a few additional options, but it won't give you options for fonts and background colors.  Those options are not available from the RCE interface.  There are also accessibility issues to consider when changing things like color on your page.  What are the Canvas accessibility standards? - Canvas Community
