I wish to choose the front page for my course in Canvas. I want to choose "Pages front page". Then Canvas directs me to "Pages", to set "Pages front page", which is required to do first (my course currently has two pages, under Pages). But there I cannot find any button with an option to set "Pages front page".
Solved! Go to Solution.
Click on the three-dot menu for one of the pages (to the right) and then click on Use as Front Page. With this set, you can go back to the Home page and set the front page.

Thanks, Brian. Now I see it! I did check the three-dot menu already, but the "use as front page" alternative is disabled. I guess I will have to check other settings.
Make sure that the page you're trying to set as the front page is published. If it is not published, then the "use as front page" will be disabled.
After you pick a front page from the Pages list, then you can go to the Home screen and select Choose Home Page and then choose "Pages Front Page".
Thanks, that solved my issue! (although I would have preferred being able to check out how it works before I publish the page 😉
