Is there any way to make the closed captioning font size larger on videos? The text runs across the top of the video and is very small. This makes it hard for those who need the captions to understand and participate, especially when the video is shown on the projector screen.

Hello @smalewicki ...
I assume that you might be using Canvas Studio to view the videos in your course? If so, that's the only place I am familiar with where closed captions appear at the top of the video. If you are using Canvas Studio, I don't know of any way to modify the text size ... as there aren't any button controls in a Studio video that would allow you to do this. You might consider submitting this as a Feature Idea here in the Community. Here are some documents for you to look through first, though:
- How does the feature idea process work in the Canvas Community?
- How do I create a new feature idea in the Canvas Community?
- What is the feature development process for Canvas?
I know this might not be the answer you were looking/hoping for, but I do hope that it helps to answer your question. Thanks Sarah.
