I copied my course.... my Live Conference Videos I did with students did not carry over... am I able to copy all the links and save them? And will I then be able to access even next year?

Hello there, 42893 Welcome to the Canvas Community.  Thank you for posting your question.  I am not 100% certain on this, but I don't believe those would carry over from course to course, semester to semester, year to year.  To be certain of this, though, I am going to tag  @ffdixon ‌ in my response in hopes that he might be able to shed some more light on your question.  I do know, though, that if you are only using the free version of BigBlueButton, those conference sessions are only saved for 14 days, and then they get deleted automatically.

I am the product manager for BigBlueButton.  While I work at Blindside Networks, the company that provides hosting for Canvas Conferences to Instructure, and can't speak on behalf of Instructure, I can respond to your question.

I think this is because the copied Conferences are given new unique IDs. 

If you are using the Free Tier, then you can't copy over the recordings as they are protected (they are only accessible from within Canvas and from within the conference in which they were corrected).

However, if your on the Premium Tier, you'll should be a able to copy over the recording links manually (such as in a Page).
