[ARCHIVED] Courses showing as empty

Hello all,

I have recently been tasked to help with Canvas setup and design at my university, and they have started out with a question I don't know the answer to, despite having searched for a solution. There are 24 courses set to launch on May 8, and the Canvas admin can see 2 of them, but the other 22 show up as "empty shells" as she puts it. What could potentially be causing this. I'm going through the obvious things with her, like making sure the courses are published and the date settings are correct, but I'm stumped!

Also, I would love to know about any other helpful resources that you guys have come across.

amckee‌, this is a strange problem. As an admin someone should be able to see all courses and everything in the courses. This is whether they are published, not published, have content, don't have content. By "empty shell" does the admin mean that there is no content in these 22 courses? If there is content in the courses the admins should see it. There would be nothing preventing them from seeing it. Could you possibly provide more information about the issue so we can better assist you?

So after talking to the actual admin for our university, it seems that I was given incorrect information, and the problem is actually that the professors haven't loaded any content in those 22 courses. What a way for me to introduce myself to this community! But, on the plus side, I'm not bringing in a new, weird, unsolvable problem!
