I have a create your own story assignment that I would like to put into canvas. The story has multiple blanks for the student to enter their own answer there is no wrong answer. Example: The                  went to the store to buy some                  . I would rely like to do this without having to have an editable pdf that the students will have to download edit then upload. That seems like a waste to me. Is there a way to make the fill in multiple blanks so that any answer is the right answer. Also make it so that I can grade it with a rubric. Thanks

This is just a thought...but could you create a Google form (or something similar) where students input their responses into text blanks?  All of the responses would be collected in a Google Spreadsheet for your review.  You could embed that form inside of a Canvas assignment, and you could still attach a Canvas rubric to the assignment to use it for grading.  If you embedded the form in the Canvas assignment, students would never have to leave Canvas.  You, as the instructor, would just need to review the responses in Google rather than Canvas.
