[ARCHIVED] Creating a Dropdown Quiz

I am trying to create a Dropdown Quiz for my students.  I have everything set up correctly, but when I preview my quiz, two empty spaces appear as an option under the [select].  I do not know how to remove these blanks.  I have tried Safari and Goole and the spaces still appear.  This happens every time I try to use this question type.  Please advise.  Thank you.

Would you be able to share a screen shot so that Community members could see what you are seeing on your screen?  That will probably help in figuring out what the issue may be.  Thanks!
