[ARCHIVED] Deleting a quiz with questions linked to an item bank

Once I have made an item bank from items in various quizzes Canvas.  What happens to the items IF I delete the original quiz where the items in the item bank were pulled from.

• If I delete the original quiz which has the items from an item bank.  Will the item bank still be able to be accessed/exist?
• Or putting it another way once an item bank is made from items, does it become separate from the original quiz it was pulled from (which I can then delete if I choose?)

You can delete a quiz and the items that were assigned to an Item Bank will remain.  Any items that were not assigned to an item bank will be deleted with the quiz. Item banks are not discretely connected to quizzes.
