I accidentally downloaded all Labster labs into the "Assignment" section of a course. Can I delete them all at once, or do I have delete each separately? Thanks.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Actually, I discovered how to do it en masse.
You create a new "group" in the assignment section.
Move all the assignments to the new group.
Delete the group.
Thanks for getting back to me.

Here's another way that may be a bit easier. Highlight the assignment to be deleted, then hit 3 dots on the right side of the assignment for the delete option hit enter. After you delete the assignment it will highlight the next assignment in order Just simply hit D on the keypad then press enter and it will delete the assignment, so just simply repeat until all the assignments are deleted. Hope this helps

It is easy to delete an entire group. However, there is no way to select only certain assignments in a group all at once. For example, if you have 200 assignment links in a single group and want to delete 50 of them, you have to do that one by one. This is so inefficient. Canvas must provide a way to multi-select objects and then perform an action. This goes for both Assignments and Modules. This is routine interface functionality. Please consider this an enhancement request long overdue.

@m3no78 ...
Unfortunately, this is not correct. I've not seen anything in any Canvas Guides or in any of the Canvas UI (User Interface) that would allow you to highlight the name of an assignment and then click on the "Delete" option within the three-dot kebab icon menu options. Can I ask where you've been able to use these directions in a Canvas course?
Looking forward to hearing back from you soon.

Huh...that's interesting. Thanks for sharing that short video demonstration. I wasn't aware that the "D" key on the keyboard would delete something that was already highlighted. I learned something new. Just to be clear, though, @susan_moss is looking for a way to delete many assignments all at one time...not one by one. I see you posted link with a bit of code (not sure what that does)...so maybe you've come up with something else as a work-around?
Susan Try this
