Is it possible to get the direct URL of an uploaded PDF file in canvas? Looking at the code structure, the following access are possible:
What I'm looking for is the direct link, like: "school.instructure.com/courses/#####/files/#####.pdf" so I can automatically embed the contents of our modules in our external application.
Yes, this is needed also so that when you have a file linked in a course, you can tell which file it actually is in the Files area. We often have faculty not manage updates to files well and then there are multiple copies of a file with same/similar name and then as a designer, I have to guess which file is which and spend more time than needed trying to locate the file. If the link in Canvas actually used the file name as part of the URL structure, that would help so much.
