Good day everyone.
When creating a Discussion Board assignment has anyone figured out a way to assign a due date for an INITIAL post and a separate due date for REPLIES?
EXAMPLE:
The reason for asking is without this option if you set a due date in the ASSIGN section the due date populates the course calendar and my experience is students assume both (INT & REPLIES) are due on that due date. But having the option to split the two dates would allow the instructor to better manage the due dates and their relation to the course calendar.
Thanks in advance!
Cheers ~ Rich

I would appreciate that function being added! My current solution is to have set days/times for Initial Posts & Replies weekly, and I just give a reminder of the IP on Friday and the Replies on Monday.
Still dreaming for this...
