This semester I noticed a change to the discussion forums for both of the classes that I'm enrolled in. After 3-4 lines of text, it truncates the rest of the post and leaves a "Read More" link for every single post. I really do not want to have to go through every discussion post on every single discussion for every class for every page load and click a link to read the rest of every single substantial post. Can this be changed or disabled?
I contacted my university's helpdesk and they were unable to consider my ticket and said to contact Canvas and that this was due to an update to the Canvas platform.

bdubs85, I just posted two very long (five paragraph) replies to various discussions and was unable to replicate the behavior depicted on your screenshot. Would you please follow up with your university's helpdesk to ask them to escalate your existing ticket to Canvas Support?
Thanks.

Thank you Stefanie. I passed the request to escalate the ticket to Canvas Support and the representative said that they did.
Hi Stefanie,
Here is a screenshot that shows the scroll bars on the right. Before the entire post showed.
I am using Chrome.

@ahawkins2 , please report this to Canvas Support if you haven't yet (How do I get help with Canvas as an instructor?; if you're a student, the instructions are essentially the same).
I asked my university to escalate the ticket to Canvas Support and got a:
"The concern and feedback is already being reviewed for modifications ensuring that the discussion pages are user friendly. In the the meantime, your ticket will be resolved and the process will continue internally."
I'm thinking that means this won't get fixed.
