[ARCHIVED] Discussions: Can settings be changed to view only new/unread discussions in Canvas for iOS?

Hi,

When using the Canvas Mobile App for iOS I can only see a way to view all discusions/discussion threads all the time. In just a few days after the start of a new semester there are hundreds of discussion posts, replies, etc. When clicking on Discussion the only view I see available is to view ALL discussions/replies whether new, old, read or unread.

I receive notifications when ther is a new post and reply. Therefore I only want to see a new port of reply...makes sense. Is there a way to only view NEW posts and replies on the iOS App? If so, how are the settings changed, in the App or via the Web interface?

I don't know of any way to filter new posts and replies. I can definitely see the use case and makes sense when factoring in notifications.

I encourage you to create a new Feature Idea and start a larger conversation about this. If you do, please link back here to help others find your idea.

I notice these posts are from 2020. I'm wondering if this feature has been implemented now that it is 2022. I've searched the Guides and not found any update that it has been added.
