[ARCHIVED] Double Notifications

On the Student Mobile app I am receiving every notification twice. I had 68 notifications this morning when I should have only had 34. How can I fix this?

I would suggest you try any of the following. I'm going to give you the iOS directions. If you are using Android, please let me know. 

  1. Restart your phone.
  2. Logout of your account on in the app and re-login back in.
  3. Turn off notifications from Canvas Student app inside the iOS settings, then re-enable.
  4. Uninstall the app from iOS Settings (not from your home screen). Head to Settings > General > iPhone Storage. This screen shows you a list of your installed apps along with how much local storage they’re using. Tap an app in this list and tap “Delete App” to delete it.
  5. Disabled and enable all push notification settings on the web under Account > Notifications > Push Notifications
