[ARCHIVED] Downloadable Lecture Capture/ Speed Playback

Myself as well as many other students use Carmen at Veterinary School and find our schedules packed and constantly trying to multitask or are forced to work offline. The lecture captures should be downloadable by students to play back with or without video so that they can be watched offline! Also we enjoy the beta feature of being able to speed up the playback so PLEASE institute this as a permanent addition to the site!

Hi,  @strait_43  Welcome to the Canvas Community! We love to hear from students. Are you interested in suggesting this as a feature idea to be implemented by Canvas? If so, we have a spot for that, so please read the information at https://community.canvaslms.com/community/ideas?sr=search&searchId=d3ce64ec-ba51-4b2e-92b2-c4c459c29... and follow the instructions you'll find there for creating and submitting an idea.

Also, I took a quick look at your school's website, and it seems that "Carmen" is the name your university gives to its online courses--but I'm not sure. What I'm saying is that the term Carmen is not something that will be universally familiar to members of the Canvas Community, so when you write up your idea for submission, please clarify what you mean when referring to Carmen, and also be specific about the type of lecture capture program the school currently uses. It might turn out that what you're requesting is a feature of that third-party program, or set by school policy, and not something that can be implemented by Canvas.
