With the different options in Notifications, it can be pretty easy to overwhelm your inbox. Because items that need to be graded are automatically added to the To-Do list, I have opted out of receiving an email message or push notification. That way, the notifications I definitely need (like submission comments, inbox messages, and global announcements) don't get lost.
