[ARCHIVED] Embedding a picture on the home page

I am an instructor and I am trying to post my picture on the home page. In the instructor's view, I see the picture, but on the student view, it only shows the file name. How do I get the picture to show in the student view too?

Sorry to see that your question has been sitting out here unanswered for such a long time  To be sure, has the image that you want to display on your Home page been uploaded to your course "Files"?  If so, then the image should display properly for you and your students...without issue.  If this is not the case, you may need to reach out to the folks at the Canvas Help Desk to see if they might be able to investigate this further with you.  Please keep us posted...thanks!  Take care, stay safe, and be well.
