Does embedding a video use as much storage as uploading a video? Is it always best to just post a link --- in terms of Canvas storage limits?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hey Beth,
Embedding a video takes no space in Canvas. Uploading a video does. If you're worried about storage, I would recommend embedding. Also, if you use iframe embeds, your students can watch the video right in Canvas without even leaving the page, but it still won't take up space.

Perfect!! Thank you!!
Not at all! I made a simple guide on embedding videos. You can read it here.
