[ARCHIVED] Enabling Discussions

When my course was set up, the Discussion function was not enabled (it has the "Disabled. Not visible to students" symbol). How can I enable Discussions? I've tried and haven't found any answers. Thanks!

Hi,  @rhirth ‌ and welcome to the Canvas community! 

You can control menu items by selecting Settings and then clicking on the Navigation tab. Locate discussions and select the three dots next to it. Select Enable and then choose Save. Now that menu item will be available for students!
