[ARCHIVED] Error when submitting assignment.

I have recently had an error with some students getting an error message when trying to submit an assignment to Canvas.  Here is the message:

[Error: Unable to transmit file to the storage service. The service may be down or you may need to re-login to Canvas.]

It has happened 3 times with 3 different students when they try and upload the file to the "Assignments" submission tab.  The assignment was a video

How can I fix this?

 @karenmaloy556 , it's hard to know what precisely generated these errors, but I do notice that Canvas experienced intermittent downtimes late yesterday, as listed on Instructure Status . The status page indicates that those issues are now resolved, so ask the students who were affected to try again, and if you have a moment, let us know if they were successful.
