Howdy!
I am not sure if this is a question that has been answered before, but I could not find a similar one. I created a "Question Group", and my FIRST Question in that Group was a "Text Only" description of the Problem (included tables, numbers, etc.). My SECOND Question in the same Group was a "Numerical" one, asking students to solve a problem, based on the description provided in the FIRST Question. I then proceeded to add a few more "Numerical" Questions, based ont he FIRST Question.
I then proceeded to create similar kinds of "Groups" of Quantitative Problems. However, whenever I "Preview" the Exam, I notice that the Questions in these "Groups" no longer appear in the manner I Grouped them. One or two appear even before the Problem Description, and then some do not even show up! Any advice on how to keep all these questions in the order and sequence I created them in the first place would be highly appreciated!
Hi there, @mpappu ...
For your quiz, you're going to want to NOT include the "Text (no question)" question type in your Question Group. You can set up your Question Groups to randomly pick a given number of questions in your Question Group....and if you include "Text (no question)" question types, it will include those in a random order...possibly not showing that information at all...depending on how you've configured things. So, in order to prevent this from happening...
Essentially what you are doing is always keeping the "Text (no question)" items showing for students...but randomly showing only the questions below that information. It might look something like this:
Hope this helps!
