[ARCHIVED] File Preview Not Working

We are experiencing issues with File Preview not working.  Every File that a student either attaches in an inbox or online in assignments is having to be downloaded to a teachers computer.  This is not helping when using speedgrader or saving our teachers time.  Example here is from inbox.  What are we doing wrong?  This file in the image is .jpg.  We use the Chrome browser and it is updated.

Any help or advice would greatly be appreciated.

Good afternoon, @toni_mardis...

I am not aware that you should be able to do a file preview within the Inbox of Canvas.  In my own testing, I sent a message to a dummy student account with a JPG attachment similar to what you show in your screenshot.  Then, I masqueraded as the dummy student to view the message in the inbox.  The JPG image wasn't anything I could preview right within the message.  I can click on the file to download it, but I cannot do anything to preview it.  I am also using Google Chrome 86 for my browser.  I also looked in my "Sent" folder after I sent the message to the dummy student, and the same thing happens there...not able to preview...just download.
