using fill in the blank question for quizzes, is there a way to mark a automatically graded question correct when the program has marked it wrong. I know I can manually give the points but I would like it to be marked correct for the other statistics in the quiz i.e who got it right who got it wrong.
an example of when this would be useful is if I said the correct answer is Z-disk and the student answers z-disk or Z-Disk or Z-disks they are wrong but I would accept that answer and I know I can give multiple correct answers but it is virtually impossible to have every single possible iteration of an acceptable answer written down.

Hi Andrew,
In the options for fill in the blank there's various settings for how close to the original answer you are happy to accept as the correct answer. For things like this though where there could be multiple iterations it may be better changing it to a word fill or a drop down version and giving multiple options for them to pick the correct one from.
Hope this helps
Stephen
