[ARCHIVED] Flipgrid-like capability in Canvas

I need to have my students be able to make video recordings of themselves speaking. The teacher and classmates need to be able to make comments via video recording or text. Basically, I need Flipgrid capability within Canvas. Flipgrid is not accessible to my students.

You could set up a discussion topic in your course.  How do I create a discussion as an instructor? - Instructure Community (canvaslms.com)

Then students could reply to that topic with their own video recordings.  Other students could also reply with their own video response:

I have the same problem.  My students have so many problems with uploading videos to Canvas Discussions.  I wish that Canvas Studio would make it possible for everyone to upload to a folder there or something like Flip does.
