How do I format a Reference list section using a hanging indent in the discussion board if it calls for APA format for discussion?

This question comes up periodically, especially towards the beginning of a new semester.

Rather than repeat the answers here, I'll link to them.

Both of those posts talk about how difficult it is to do this. The first one provides actual instructions and that have nothing to do with copying from Word (despite the title).
