[ARCHIVED] Get rid of Firewall

Hello,

I imported a Canvas course I created when I worked at a university. I wanted to include the onboarding course in my ID portfolio. I want anyone to have the ability to access the site without a password. The problem: it is firewall protected. All the settings indicate that it is open to the public, but users still need to sign in to access the page. What am I missing?  Thanks, Michelle

Hello Michelle,

Are you using your school's version of Canvas, or the "Free for Teachers" version?  There is no option in the "Free for Teachers" version to make your course "public" so that users can see it without logging in.
