Hi,
I've had a request to add college events (an academic calendar with drop dates, as an example) to the Calendar for all students (and staff) to see.
Is there a way to add events to the Canvas calendar for all to see? Global events.

Hi Matt,
That is not possible without enrolling everyone into a course. Canvas only has global announcements. Perhaps the course could be called "University Resources" or something and you use it to present various resources. At that point you could add things the course calendar and it would be available to everyone. Keep in mind that users can mute specific calendars, so even if you posted an item in this course, it's no guarantee that everyone would actually see it.
