[ARCHIVED] Google Drive LTI 1.3, Google Drive Cloud, Google Assignments LTI Differences

I am confused about these 3 items in the subject.  I read in a post that Drive Cloud Assignments will be depricated in 2021.  Does that mean that what you have existing will no longer work or is it just you can't add assignments that way any more.

Is Google drive LTI 1.3 staying around after that or is it considered the same thing?  So is Cloud and Assignments separate from Drive?

Is the Google Apps button in the content editor staying around, and how is that different?

I want to move forward using something that will be around and be a robust tool for my workflow.

Same!  I'm wondering if it matters which my teachers use for now.  If they are the same, why not make one go away now?  Why have both?
