We had setup a course using Canvas Free For Teachers. Some of our students registered using the Google Sign-In. However by doing so, they are not required to enter a password. How can they login when using mobile devices? The Google sign-in option does not seem to work for mobile devices. Are there any possible alternatives? Thanks.

Have you looked at the new QR code option? Would that be an option for your students?

 How do I view a QR code to log in to the Canvas mobile apps as a student?‌

If they can log in through a browser, this may simplify the process. I haven't tried it with Google SSO, but I hope it works for you.
