Hi, @sabrams . Can you share more information about what icon you are seeing and what your course posting policies are? A screenshot could be a good way to quickly share this information and if you are not familiar with posting policies, check out How do I use posting policies in a course?
Hi Adam...thanx for getting back to me...I am sorry I am not good with technology...may I describe for you for you what I see... when the students turn in an assignment ...what looks like a book shows up as an icon in the grade column...when I grade the paper the grade replaces the icon..;.that is not happening with two students...there is no grade there just the icon remaining...does that help...(I hope)...LOL! Thanx for working with me...
Hmm, that's interesting. Do you see a grade for those submissions when you view it in SpeedGrader?
Well, that is good news! It means the grade is there and should be showing for students. I have two last long-shot things to check, and if neither of these works, you may want to contact Canvas Support about the submission icon remaining in the gradebook column. Does refreshing the gradebook page show the grade instead of the icon? Is it possible there is a very similar assignment in the gradebook that you are viewing instead of that assignment?
Sandy, that's fantastic! Do you mind sharing what the solution was in case anyone comes across this post and has a similar issue?
Hi Adam...it was such a simple ‘fix’...LOL! Vicki gave me the solution...there is a statement under the grade that says something like ‘keep the same grade submitted’ ...if you want to keep or change the grade...just click it...hope that helps...as always thanx to you and the team for always being there for all of us...we so appreciate you all...
Sandy
