[ARCHIVED] Gradebook giving incomplete assignments full credit

Help! For some reason, my grade book is giving ALL incomplete assignments full credit. This started when I tried to "automatically apply grade for missing assignments" via the gear at the top right of the page.  I have tried everything I can think of to fix this.  Just unchecking "automatically apply grade for missing assignments did not help. This is a crisis, because it is giving students falsely elevated totals. Thanks for any help!

Hi,  @karenejoseph . From what you've described, I am venturing a guess that the reason for the incomplete assignments receiving full credit is that a missing submission policy was applied as described in How do I apply a Missing Submission policy in the Gradebook? and that policy was configured to give full credit to all missing assignments. Even if this is the case, I would still be curious why "all incomplete assignments" were deemed as "missing" by the policy. Do these assignments have due dates in the past?

No, because unclicking the policy does not change the grades.

I'm having the same issue and my local "help" center is not helpful. Have you found a solution?
