[ARCHIVED] Grading With a Rubric

After I grade using my rubric, I still have to type the grade into the box at the top. I feel like I remember a time in which the grade was automatically filled in after filling out the rubric. Is there something that I need to do in settings or in my assignment to make that happen?

When you attach a rubric to an assignment, are you making sure to select the option to use the rubric for assignment grading?  Please see How do I add a rubric to an assignment? - Canvas Community for additional information.  Thanks!
