Thank you for submitting your question! I have a few troubleshooting ideas for you to try:
You can try opening another browser and seeing if that stops the mirror effect (keep in mind that Safari does not support screen sharing). Other people have said that switching to a new tab in the same browser will remedy the issue.
It could also be a good idea to try clearing your cache and cookies.

Thanks Danielle! I've tried that a few times. Even rebooted. It's somewhere in the setting I can't seem to find it. I reached out to my Brother that is an IT professional and he can't find it either. I'm really bummed out!

I also cannot reliably use Canvas screenshare due to the infinity mirror effect -- exactly what Roseann Bautista writes about, above. Updated Firefox browser; two different Windows machines. Plenty of reboots.
I figured out what I was doing that sometimes caused that "endless mirror" effect & posted a remedy HERE.
