How can I enable announcements? It is currently disabled and I cannot change it.

Hello  @kimberlyrodriqu  Welcome to the Canvas Community.  Thanks for posting your question.  You should be able to customize your left-hand side course navigation menu...including making the "Announcements" button visible for your students.  Check out this Guide for more information: How do I manage Course Navigation links?.

Hello, anybody could help here, please? Announcements are stil invisible in my courses, although they are in the right category for them to be visible. Please see screnshot. Please advise.

Once you have enabled the "Announcements" button in your course navigation, you need to have at least one announcement posted on your "Announcements" screen in order for that cross-out eye icon to go away.  Have you posted any announcements to your course yet?  Looking forward to hearing back from you on this.
