Now that OSU is in a distance learning mode for all courses, how can I transfer videos from Mediasite (which I am just now learning to use) to my Carmen classes? Many thanks for any help!

Hi again, Scott Fisher,
Following up here. It looks like your school's instance of Canvas (CarmenCanvas) has an integration tool for Mediasite. Mediasite is not a core component of Canvas, so we don't have guides that cover the integration here in the Canvas Community. However, the following guides from the OSU Resource Center may be helpful for transferring those videos:
Mediasite & Carmen: Adding a Presentation to Carmen
Add a Presentation Using the Embed Code
Link to a Mediasite Presentation
Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thanks!
Tami
Hi @fisher_24 ,

Thank you for your reply, Ms. Booth-- some of my colleagues indeed showed me straightforward ways of incorporating Mediasite into my Carmen/Canvas pages, and I also learned more about Carmen Zoom, so now all is well (providing no coronaviruses arrive!). I hope that my question and the attendant answers might be of help to others, especially retro geezers such as myself. smile
Many thanks,
Scott
You are very welcome, Scott! We are happy to help. Thank you for making the Community such a great place.
