[ARCHIVED] How can I open a power point my teacher posted?

My professor posted a power point as a link when I clicked it the power point downloaded. Then when i clicked the newly downloaded power point it would not open. Please help I need to veiw it to complete assignments.

Do you have the Microsoft PowerPoint software installed on your computer? If not, that's the main way that you'll be able to open the file to view. However, your instructor may have linked the PowerPoint file in your course so that you don't even need to use PowerPoint. You may see an icon in your course like the one I have circled here:
If you have an icon like this, you can click on it within your course, and you should be able to view the PowerPoint file directly in your course.
