[ARCHIVED] How can I retrieve a message sent to students from the Gradebook?

I messaged students from within the gradebook ("message students who...") and want to double-check what I wrote in that message.  I've searched through the inbox and can find no record of the messages sent from within the gradebook of a particular course.  I've searched the gradebook for an option to read messages sent and I've searched within the assignment page...nothing.  Clearly I am missing something!  Help?

Messages I've sent from the gradebook were visible in the Sent folder in Inbox.

I can not find the messages I sent through the "gradebook" messaging, "message all students who..."  They do not show up in my "in-box" sent messages and I need to document messages sent. Any help would be appreciated.

I, too, do not see the gradebook messages I've sent to specific students in my Inbox. It would helpful if Canvas added "test student" to the gradebook message tool so that instructors could have a record of the messages we send.
