[ARCHIVED] How do I Share a Course Space On Canvas with another Instructor

I will be teaching a computer information course starting in August. I formerly taught it in the  classroom at the Cocoa campus. I probably will need to teach it online for August. I was told by my Department Head I should be able to share a Canvas shell with another instructor, who is teaching the same course, but online at a different night.

The instructor said he is willing to share the Canvas site with me. He and I do not know how to do that. He sent me an E mail giving me permission to share the Canvas shell with him.

The instructor can add you to the course as a Teacher or Designer and then you can copy the content from his course into your own.

Happy New Year!  In addition to the great resources that you received from @Robbie_Grant and @KristinL, I'll add one additional option for you.  Do you and your colleagues at your school take advantage of Canvas Commons?  If so, he could share his course to Canvas Commons (just to the institution and not to all Canvas users around the world).  Then, you could import the course that he shared to Commons.  Here are a couple Guides for you to look through:
