I want to add an EXCEL file for my students to contribute to. I don't want them to download and EXCEL file and resubmit as a separate file. I want to post a file on Canvas that my students can all contribute to in a common fashion. Similar to "Sharepoint".
It looks like "Collaborations" is the tool I need to use. "Assignments" might work, but it looks like not like I want it to.
Hello there, @yelpmark ...
Are you following the directions outlined in How do I create a Microsoft Office 365 collaboration as an instructor? I'm not sure that you are able to use an existing Excel file that you've already prepared for your students, however. It seems like this might start a new Excel spreadsheet for your students? I just tried this in my own sandbox course, and that was the experience for me. 🤔
