It depends on what you mean by "page."

If you need to add a link to some content, you can use the Redirect Tool (go to Course Settings > Apps and search for redirect).

For External Tools, they need to be created with a course navigation placement option. 

If you need to add a Canvas feature or an external tool that can be placed in the course navigation, then you go to Course Settings > Navigation and drag the options into the active portion at the top.

Here's an issue I've encountered:

When using the iphone app, the "redirect" tool sends you to a internet browser tab that then asks you to log-in to canvas, which shouldn't be necessary because you are already in the Canvas app.

@abailey2  - What link/feature are you redirecting to from the Canvas app?

I have the same issue as abailey2. I want a specific discussion and a few specific pages to be on the Course Navigator, but, when students use the iphone app, the redirect tool takes them out of Canvas and to a browser. Is there anyway to send the students to a page/discussion without leaving the Canvas app?

Hi there.  Have you considered making a module at the top of your course that contains those particular items that you want to highlight or just make prominent within your course?  You could put your specific discussion topic(s) and any other content pages within that module, and it would be available for everyone in the course.  It saves you the work of having to use the Redirect tool all the time...and it keeps your students within the app.
