I have an assessment in one module and I want to duplicate that same assessment for another module but it is within the same course.

Hello @gndgn ...

Do you happen to have the "Duplicate" option that is described in this Guide: How do I duplicate an assignment?.  This is probably the easiest way to make a duplicate of your assignment so that you can then move that copy to a new module in your course.  How do I move or reorder an assignment?
