[ARCHIVED] How do I publish grades for individual students?

This seems like the most basic thing but I can't find the option anywhere. 

1. I don't want the students to see my corrections and comments as I make them, I want to finish grading each assignment before it gets posted.

2. I don't want everyone to wait until I've finished grading them all before they can see it.

Is there a solution to this?

Hello  @thof   and welcome to the Community.  In the gradebook, you can choose whether to hide all of the grades at the same time, post all of the grades at the same time, or hide/post by sections.

The sidebar came up when I chose to hide the grades.  You cannot do individual students, to my knowledge.

You seem to be right, jcarpenter1. Adding a feature to allow hiding/unhiding individual grades would be helpful.
