[ARCHIVED] How do we view the grades for one particular student in ALL of their classes?

We can go to their individual class and see all their grades for that particular course.  But I thought there was way to look up a student and then see their grades in all their classes.  Is this possible?  If so, can you please tell me how to do this?

 @mcgrail_jennife ​, there is no built in way to do this in Canvas. Yet, there has been quite a bit of talk about this recently. Below are two of the most robust discussions:

• Accessing all student grades - this is a great discussion that provides the best work around for right now.
• - this is a Feature Idea and includes discussion about the topic

In addition to these conversations, a 3rd party option that will provide this information (that is pretty awesome and what we use) is Dropout Detective.

Thank you Kona,

I am glad there is a work around, but disappointed because we were told this already existed (which had an affect on our decision to buy Canvas).

I will use the workaround, but this will be difficult for some of our less techie users.
